About Us

“Growing the Good”

One Together is a community interest company delivering a variety of creative programmes to children, young people and their families, all with the purpose of developing confidence, positivity, enhancing self-esteem and promoting happiness. In short – Growing the good!

One Together CIC has evolved over the last ten years, from its starting point of delivering a wide variety of grass roots community-based projects to becoming a respected provider of mindfulness and wellbeing workshops.

One Together is managed by a team of directors, all with a shared passion for helping people to reach their full potential and enjoy life. We all believe that if people are treated with kindness, respect and understanding then they can flourish and achieve anything.

We work with many like minded partners whilst overseeing each project personally to ensure it fits with our philosophy.

Meet The Team

Hayley Kearns

Hayley Kearns is a primary school teacher with 20 years experience. Her specialism is English and during her career she has also spent time delivering phonics and SPaG training. Mindfulness is a huge part of Hayley’s life and becoming an accredited Youth Mindfulness and SOMA facilitator has meant she can share her passion for this with children and young people. She is also a mental health first aider and has completed the Roar mental health programme for schools. She is always looking for new and exciting ways to bring the power of mindfulness to children and young people and loves seeing young people thrive as their confidence develops.

Neil West

Neil West taught in primary schools for over ten years and was a Deputy Head before he escaped to become an organic, free range teacher in the wild. For the last 15 years he has been developing and delivering creative enrichment for learning programmes. A founder member of the Local Cultural Education Partnership, he has written poetry and fiction for young people and delivers creative writing programmes in schools. He is also a specialist teacher in Primary Design Technology providing CPD for primary schools. Inspired by the Youth Mindfulness and SOMA programmes, Neil works alongside Hayley as an accredited mindfulness facilitator. He has an accreditation from the Association of Master Trainers to deliver the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method as well as the LEGO® BASED THERAPY® and Therabuild® models and delivers training to those interested in applying these programmes in their own settings. Like Hayley, Neil is a ‘seeker’ and is always in pursuit of new and exciting ways to engage young people and help them achieve their full potential as human beings.
